Rooftop London (The Garden at 120)
I am writing this post (the first of many I hope) after a bit of a hiatus. I have been reflecting, perhaps somewhat philosophically, on the many events that have happened in my life over the past few years so much so, that I thought it high time I got back into the routine of reflective journaling.
So let's begin with last night, when I had the good fortune of visiting an amazing location in the city of London, United Kingdom. The '14th floor', dubbed London's prettiest bar (Secret London: Could This Be London’s Prettiest Sky-High Restaurant?, 2021), is located at 'The Garden at 120'.
As I wondered the rooftop garden, I was amazed to see a unique view of London's incredible skyline. There was the eye-catching Walkie-Talkie building, Canary Wharf glistening in the distance and tucked away behind shimmering glass towers was the Gherkin shimmering under the beautiful evening sky. What a sight to behold!
Have a look at the views, simply stunning I hope you'll agree?
Here is the ground floor entrance to the main building...
...and this tree is a video projection onto the ceiling. Quite stunning in itself!
Rooftop views take your breath away. Everywhere you look it is aesthetically pleasing
Here are some views from inside the bar area...
The tinted mauve patterns on the glass give a clean cut designer quality to the bar and surrounding skyline...
...and give an almost tourist brochure/guidebook like feel as we view the surroundings
that includes in the distance, Tower Bridge.

There is a moat-like water feature running round the rooftop garden...
...visitors admire the spectacular views, of which there are plenty!
I am always amazed to see just how much development and construction work is going on in London. The dynamic cosmopolitan city never seems to let up and is always changing and growing with the times.
...So until nextime - I bid you farewell!
